recent survey found that three out of every four children,
under the age of eight, enjoy nursery rhymes. Whether they
be read
aloud by a parent or read from a book of stories or listened
to on a portable stereo, young kids are enthralled by these
wonderful tales of magic and adventure. Nursery rhymes often
feature absurd
characters entangled in unbelievable circumstances. Tales about
lambs that follow little girls to school or boys who fall down
hills after collecting buckets of water have enchanted kids
for many, many generations. Traditional nursery rhymes will
always
have an impact on children and the young at heart. Everyone
has their favourite children’s rhyme and time will not
be able to change that.
