Every
member of the family living next door, plays musical instruments.
The father plays the trombone, the mother plays the flute, the
youngest boy plays the saxophone, the middle girl is a virtuoso
on the harpsichord, while the eldest child can play the guitar
like she's ringing a bell. Meanwhile, no one in my house plays
musical instruments, unless you count Dad playing the spoons
or the comb covered with tissue paper. Unfortunately, my family
lacks rhythm and is tone-deaf to a certain extent. I got kicked
out of the school band for repeatedly missing the end of the
crescendo with my cymbals. Whenever I walk into the music room
everyone covers their musical instruments until I've walked by. |
